Sales for the top 10 winners combined represent a 337 percent increase in 2009 over sales in 2007. The top 10 generated nearly $2 billion during the past three years. “This is one of the most fantastic groups of companies in our 20 years of awards. They are role models for our entire economy, and an inspiration regarding what is possible in a free enterprise economy” said Jerry White, director of the Caruth Institute. “These 100 companies refused to participate in the recession.” The top companies were recognized at an awards ceremony at the Meyerson Symphony Center November 17, with keynote speaker Carl Sewell, chairman of Sewell Automotive Companies.
